The Working With The Young People course is formulated to improve your awareness of mental health conditions that affect children and young people, including the risk factors that have a massive impact on mental well-being and advise you on how to mitigate those risks.

This mental health training program covers the legislation and guidance surrounding mental health, the behaviours shown by children and young people that indicate mental health concerns and how to effectively establish the diagnosis of mental illness in children and young people. You will become knowledgeable about the warning signs of mental illness in children and learn how you can help children and young people cope.

By completing this online course, you will gain the skills and expertise to investigate the impact of mental health concerns and promote mental well-being in children and young people.

Who is this Course for?

This Working With The Young People course is suitable for anyone who want to gain extensive knowledge, potential experience and professional skills in the related field.

Entry Requirement:

• This course is available to all learners, of all academic backgrounds.
• Learners should be aged 16 or over to undertake the qualification.
• Good understanding of English language, numeracy and ICT are required to attend this course.

Method of Assessment:

Upon completion of the course, you will be required to sit for an online multiple-choice quiz based assessment, which will determine whether you have passed the course (60% pass mark). The test will be marked immediately and results will be published instantly.

Certification

After successfully completing the course, you will be able to obtain the certificates. You can claim a PDF certificate by paying a little processing fee of £2. There is an additional fee to obtain a hardcopy certificate which is £9.
