You will know how to carry out an individual risk assessment, use equipment safely, reduce the likelihood of developing musculoskeletal disorders and always keep your service users’ comfort and safety at the forefront. You will also learn how the musculoskeletal system can get injured. You will be able to identify risk factors associated with people handling. This course reduces the risk of future injury from manual handling with emphasise on risk assessment and adequate supervision.
