This course is designed to give learners solid knowledge of basic human nutrition and the different types of foods that aid weight loss, nurture the body and promote a healthy heart. You will also explore the role and responsibilities of a nutritionist and what constitutes a healthy, balanced diet.

Suitable for beginners, this course goes into detail about the different food groups, the functions of the metabolic system, and how the body digests and absorbs food. It also provides essential information on detoxing and breaking bad eating habits.

Who is This Course for?

This course is suitable for those who are looking to kickstart a healthy eating journey or fast track their career as a certified dietician or nutritionist. It is ideal for those who have successfully completed the Diet and Nutrition Diploma or Diet and Nutrition Fundamentals Level 4 course, and wish to build on their existing knowledge. This course has no entry requirements and can be studied part-time or full-time.

Entry Requirement:

  • This course is available to all learners, of all academic backgrounds.
  • Good understanding of English language, numeracy and ICT are required to attend this course.

This course has been endorsed by the Quality Licence Scheme for its high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification. At the successful completion of the course, the learners can order an endorsed certificate of achievement by paying the fee of £88. There is an additional £10 delivery charge for international students.

Certificate of Completion from Course Gate

At the successful completion of the course, the learners may order the Certificate of Completion from Course Gate (soft copy) by paying only £2. For the Printed hard copy of the certificate, the learners have to pay £9. There is an additional £10 delivery charge for international students.
