The Interior Design For Beginners course is designed to provide introductory training on basic design principles, focusing on the role of an interior designer and popular industry trends. In this course, you will explore fundamental design concepts, including room-by-room training. Who is this Course for?
This introductory course is ideal for aspiring interior designers who wish to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to fast track their career. It is for those who have little or no knowledge of the principles of interior design, or those who are new to the field and want to test their skills and knowledge. There are no entry requirements for this course, however, an eye for detail and a creative mind is essential.
- This course is available to all learners, of all academic backgrounds.
- Learners should be aged 16 or over to undertake the qualification.
- Good understanding of English language, numeracy and ICT are required to attend this course.
At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
The course has been endorsed under the ABC Awards and Certa Awards Quality Licence Scheme. This means that Course Gate has undergone an external quality check to ensure that the organisation and the courses it offers, meet defined quality criteria. The completion of this course alone does not lead to a regulated qualification* but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained.
