The Teaching Assistant Level 2 course is an introduction to the principles and practices involved in providing learning support to children in a professional setting, ideal for aspiring teaching assistants and those who are new to the industry.

In this course, learners will develop their understanding of the role of a teaching assistant and will gain the relevant skills and knowledge to ensure their career progression. As an introductory course, it explores the classroom structure and environment in detail, covering core topics such as planning activities and teaching methodologies. 

This course also provides an in-depth introduction to teaching children with special educational needs (SEN), and how to promote their learning and development in a classroom environment.

It is an introductory program for those who want to learn about the responsibilities of a teaching assistant and how to provide professional learning support.

Entry Requirement:

  • This course is available to all learners, of all academic backgrounds.
  • Learners should be aged 16 or over to undertake the qualification.
  • Good understanding of English language, numeracy and ICT are required to attend this course.

At the successful completion of the course, the learners can order an endorsed certificate of achievement by paying the fee of £68. There is an additional £10 delivery charge for international students.

Certificate of Completion from Course Gate

At the successful completion of the course, the learners may order the Certificate of Completion from Course Gate (soft copy) by paying only £2. For the Printed hard copy of the certificate, the learners have to pay £9. There is an additional £10 delivery charge for international students.
